The Green Skills Bootcamp is a free, four-week course offering hands-on training in grounds maintenance, with a mix of classroom learning and real-world work experience. Participants will gain skills in areas like:
- Trimming and maintaining trees, shrubs, and hedges
- Planting and caring for green spaces
- Habitat management and tree surveying
- Operating landscaping tools and machinery

Eligibility criteria:
- Aged 19+ and a resident of Hounslow
- Currently unemployed or in receipt of means-tested benefits
The bootcamp starts on Monday 24th February 2025, and runs part-time (10:00 am – 2:00 pm) at Meadowbank Adult Education Centre in Cranford. A pre-learning session will also be held to provide support with CV writing and enrolment.
