£100,000 Small Grants Fund targeted specifically at young people from the London Borough of Ealing.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for either –
- Projects working with children and young people
OR
- Core costs – if your organisation exclusively supports children and young people.
ELIGIBILITY:
- A Young Ealing Foundation member – if you are not already we can sign you up.
- Have an annual income under £250,000
- You have two unrelated signatories

FAMILY LINKS TALKING TEENS
The programme helps parents/carers to learn how to build effective communication and relationship with their teenager/s and explore the challenges. The aim is to increase parents’ understanding of teenagers’ feelings & behaviour and deliver key strategies for maintaining and improving relationships
MONDAY, 07 FEBRUARY
FAMILY LINKS ADDITIONAL NEEDS
The programme is aimed at parents and carers of children with additional needs. This can be a physical need, emotional need, or learning difficulty (such as Autism, ADHD). The programme helps parents/carers by offering positive practical, and fun ways of guiding children so they can manage their feelings and behaviour. There is a focus on looking after yourself and understanding you and your own childÂ’s emotional needs and building good communication and practical strategies to manage behaviour.
TUESDAY, 01 MARCH
PARENTING PUZZLE WORKSHOP
The programme consists of four two-hour workshops for groups of parents of children under 5 years old. Parents feel more confident and have a greater understanding of their childrenÂ’s feelings and needs and how their children communicate these. They have an increased repertoire of parenting strategies to support their childÂ’s development and school readiness.
WEDNESDAY, 02 FEBRUARY
STRENGTHENING FAMILIES, STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIESÂ
The programme promotes positive relationships for you and your children, teaching effective discipline methods to provide you with the confidence and skills to make life at home more manageable. The model aims to reduce violent behaviours at home and within the community, focusing on managing children to make the community safer.
THURSDAY, 10 MARCH
FAMILY LINKS NURTURING UNDER-FIVE
The programme will support parents/carers to encourage positive relationships with their children. It will help parents to use positive discipline, how to set limits & boundaries effectively and handle any challenging behaviours. It will help parents to develop skills using praise and encouragement using social and emotional coaching. Parents will gain confidence in handling separations and reunions and the art of praise and encouragement.
FRIDAY, 11 FEBRUARY
THE FREEDOM PROGRAMME
The aim of the programme is to help women understand the beliefs held by abusive men, identify and challenge any shared beliefs, illustrate the effects of domestic abuse on children, and assist women in recognising potential future abusers.

Ealing Adult Learning service continues to deliver courses through its online offer. We will deliver lessons and support learners through the use of Google Education suite, Zoom, Skype and other digital platforms.
Our 2021-2022 Prospectus is now available, however there will be major changes to the way we can provide these courses in the Autumn Term.
For the moment, all our courses will be delivered online, however, we are making very careful plans to ensure that we will be ready for classroom delivery as soon as we can.  The safety of staff and learners is our top priority and we will continue to follow Government and Public Health England advice on social distancing.
Covid Response Courses – We have planned a wide range of FREE courses with a focus on supporting learners back into employment, re-skilling and promoting health and wellbeing. If you have been directly impacted by Covid 19, e.g. furloughed, made redundant, at risk of redundancy or redeployment, please type FREE in the search button to view our list of courses.
To participate in online classes you will need an email address, a reliable internet connection, a computer/laptop/tablet/mobile phone with fully updated browser (preferably Google Chrome). Your device will need a microphone and preferably a camera.

Sport England – Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund – Decisions following application usually take around 3 weeks.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund aims to use sport and physical activity as a means of bringing a community together and providing opportunities for people who may be less physically active. Project costs such as facility hire and coaching, and small capital improvements are eligible. ItÂ’s important that your project can continue to run, or have a lasting legacy as a result of the funding. Sports England are looking for projects that are built from local experience and feedback; that bring together various groups and communities; and also make the most of local facilities and equipment.
You donÂ’t have to be a sports organisation to apply but you should show how you have the skills and experience to deliver the project. Priority will be given to projects that work with people in disadvantaged communities.
Grants of between £300 and £10,000 available.

Vinci UK Foundation Grants – Deadline: 31st March, 2022Â
The VINCI UK Foundation funds projects which aim to tackle the issues in the following four areas of action through an innovative approach and which will make a positive, measurable impact on the local area :
- access to employment,
- insertion through housing,
- inclusive mobility
- and building better communities.
The total cost of the project should not exceed £100,000.
In 2020, 33 projects were supported and received grants of between £3,000 and £20,000.
