“Thinking About Adulthood”Autistic Adult Services 2021-2022-by CAAS

Autistic Adult Services 2021-2022

. The service will primarily be working with adults aged 18+ with no learning disability

We offer, by appointment, individual/ one to one support and  will work with clients to provide support with practical issues, such as:

  • assisting in communication and completion of applications/ forms,
  • processing and understanding documentation,
  • CV creation and interview preparation,
  • exploring goals and creating plans to help achieve them,
  • signposting to existing services.

We are starting monthly planning for adulthood workshops for those aged between 14 and 18 years who are autistic or have ADHD.

JETS-JOB ENTRY TARGETED SUPPORT programme

This programme is designed to help people to find work who have been unemployed and receiving benefits for at least 13 weeks

Our Employment Advisors will support individuals for up to 6 months through one to one meetings, helping you to overcome barriers to
employment and identify transferable skills to expand your opportunities.You will also be given access to the Shaw Trust Participant Portal where
you can find online courses, training, video tutorials and suitable live vacancies from a range of industries at different levels of entry!

To be eligible for JETS you must be:
• Of working age (18 years old to State Pension age).
• Have the right to reside and work in England.
• Be receiving Universal Credit in the Intensive Work Search.
Regime group or New Style Jobseekers Allowance.
• Be motivated and want to find work

Future Ealing Fund crowdfunding Workshop Wed, 28 July 2021 10:00 – 11:00 BST

THIS EVENT IS FOR COMMUNITY LEADERS IN EALING TO HELP THEM SUPPORT THEIR GROUPS WITH FUNDING TO DELIVER THEIR PROJECTS

The Future Ealing Fund Crowdfunding Programme is Ealing Council’s transformation programme. You can be part of the transformation to make our borough better for everyone to enjoy. There’s £100,000 on offer through the Future Ealing Fund, with a maximum of £10,000 (up to 50% of campaign target) for crowdfunding projects. Come along to our online workshop find out more!

Level 3 ESOL & Literacy Teacher Training- by Twin

The Location: Online

The Qualification: Level 3 ESOL and Literacy

Your learning hours: 60 hours within 8 – 10 Weeks (2 days a week Intensive course) – actual class hours are 36 hours and the rest are for you to prepare, study and receive 5 hours of 1-1 coaching sessions

Research, coursework, and report preparation: Up to 60 hours

Your Schedule: Flexible, depending on the needs of the group

Class size: up to 6-10 students

Your Teacher trainers: Highly qualified, approachable, and passionate. Lessons will be dynamic and interactive – we want to inspire you to inspire others!

Course assessment: Four units – 100% coursework – a guided research project and a short oral presentation – there is no requirement to undertake any practical teaching

Clarion Futures Digital Grants Round 8 Deadline: 12 noon Wednesday 04 August 2021.

Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available to organisations seeking to deliver innovative, well designed projects that support Clarion residents and the wider community to address digital exclusion.

The Fund is designed to support Clarion residents and the wider community to get and stay online and to use the internet as an everyday tool, safely and confidently.

Applications are open on a rolling basis; however to be considered for Round 8.

  • Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available to organisations delivering adapted and reinstated activities and essential services for Clarion residents and the wider community.
  • Funding can be provided for any initiative helping communities to reverse the impacts of COVID in our communities, though we are particularly interested in funding projects that:
  • provide opportunities to people under 25
  • promote wellbeing
  • build community or household resilience
