Ealing Compact Review

As a member organisation of EHCVS, your voice and opinions are important to us.  The Compact is an agreement between Ealing Council, the Voluntary Sector, and the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) formally Ealing CCG. In theory, the Compact provides a framework for the relationships between the Council, CCG/ICP, and local voluntary and community groups. It is not a contract or legally binding document.

The purpose of this survey is for you as EHCVS member organisations to voice your view on:
1.     Your current understanding and awareness of the Compact.
2.     Your need to have a formal non-binding agreement in place.
3.     Your option on an alternative arrangement.

A SAFER EALING FOR WOMEN- A LISTENING EXERCISE-SAFER EALING PARTNERSHIP (SEP)

The Safer Ealing Partnership (SEP) wants to hear from the boroughÂ’s women and girls about how safe they feel in EalingÂ’s public spaces.
In the wake of the recent tragic murders of several women in public spaces across London, womenÂ’s safety has become a national issue.
Across the UK, 97% of women aged 18-24 have reported experiencing harassment in public.
In response, the SEP is launching an in-depth listening exercise, which includes a confidential online survey, where women and girls in Ealing
are encouraged to share their thoughts. The survey launches on the last day of the UN Women 16 days of activism against gender-based
violence.
The four key themes the SEP will consider are:
• What role the Safer Ealing Partnership should play in creating safe spaces for women and girls
• The places in the borough where women and girls say they feel unsafe
• The experiences of harassment and abuse of women and girls in the borough
• Women’s experience of reporting incidents.
The survey runs until 4 February. There is also the opportunity to ask to take part in a focus group where these issues will be discussed in
greater depth.
The responses will help to inform SEPÂ’s violence against women and girls strategy, which is due to be published next year.
Fighting inequality is one of the councilÂ’s three priorities. Working with the SEP to make the borough safer for women and girls is one of the
ways that the council is looking to achieve this goal.

– Locate your required on-premise licenses from  this catalogue

– Add your chosen products to your cart, and use our online checkout to make payment

– Microsoft licenses are generated and sent to an organisation’s primary email address within 3-5 business days of your payment being received

Draft Ealing youth plan consultation 2022-25-Closing 2 March 2022

Ealing Council is consulting on how it will deliver its youth services for the next three years, and on the delivery of our services in Southall while a new permanent site for the Young Adult Centre (YAC) is identified.

The draft Youth Plan sets out:

  • A hub and spoke model which proposes how it will operate to deliver services, programmes and activities in geographic areas with partners. The plan includes demographic data.
  • The seven key themes that the youth service will focus on with young people.
  • The responses from the previous consultation with young people relating to youth centres incorporate their ideas.
  • The focus on providing support for children who have special educational needs or disabilities.
  • The temporary relocation of youth services out of the Young Adult Centre in Southall to Dormers Hub while a permanent site is identified on which to build a new youth centre.

We invite your views on the provision of youth activities, youth centres and programmes following COVID, so these can fit into the draft youth plan. The youth plan is now available and you have your say on the provision of activities and services and the interim and long-term plans for the Southall youth centre by completing a short questionnaire.

CLOSING SOON : The National Lottery’s Platinum Jubilee Fund - Deadline: 15th December, 2021 5pm

We want to fund projects that create a greater legacy for our places and spaces, and that support new opportunities, activities and build better relationships with one another, across generations and with the natural world.

Funded projects will need to be up and running by Her Majesty The QueenÂ’s Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend on 5 June 2022.

Fund size : £30,000 to £50,000 for up to 2 years
Our three areas of focus are:

1. Across Generations – Strengthening relationships between generations and creating a legacy for future generations.
2. Community Renewal – Supporting new opportunities for people to develop skills and experiences in their local community, as well as opportunities to bring people together in new ways, and in new or different places and spaces.
3. Our Shared Natural World – Growing our care and action locally for the natural world.

CLOSING SOON : Household support funding- EALING COUNCIL -Deadline : 23rd December, 2021

Ealing Council has received money from DWP from the national Household Support Fund to provide support to vulnerable households and families with children during this winter period. The funds the council has received are time-limited and need to be used for this purpose by 31 March 2022.

The council would now like to invite further local voluntary and community groups to work with the council to help ensure these funds reach those who really need them. The funds can be used to provide direct support to residents and also to raise awareness of the support available through the council. This will include:

  • Provision of support with food
  • Provision of support with energy and water
  • Provision of support with essentials linked to energy and water
  • Other wider essentials.

If your group is already delivering support to vulnerable individuals/households, has a payment system already in place, and feels that they would be able to help, there is more information and an application form available.

We expect to give 30-40 small grants of £1,000 – £10,000 and 6-8 large grants between £10,000 and £25,000
Small Grant (£1K-£10K)
If you are applying for a small grant, (£1k – £10k) this is a rolling programme so you can apply at any time and we will assess your application at the next available panel meeting  Small grants first panel: 24th January 2022
Aims: Your idea or project must: 

  • increase understanding about healthy, unhealthy and toxic relationships
  • give people the knowledge and confidence to know how to keep their friends safe

Large Grant(£10K-£25K)
If you are applying for a large grant (£10k – £25k), the first deadline is 18 February 2022
Aims similar to mentioned under smalll grants

  • You can apply for a grant to use the tools and resources Your Best Friend creates in your own community, or to develop ideas and activities of your own. Your idea or project should focus on girls, young women and non-binary people aged 13-24. We are particularly interested in getting these tools and resources to those who might not find the help they need easily and need it in a language, or style, or place where they feel safe.
