Hounslow VCSE Training & Development Bursary
Hounslow Council’s Community Partnerships Unit is very pleased to announce the launch of a new bursary scheme for the VCSE sector in Hounslow.
The Hounslow VCSE Training & Development Bursary will provide funds to cover the costs of voluntary and community organisations groups achieving recognised quality standards and undertaking training and development work to improve their organisation’s capacity to deliver effective services. Under the new scheme organisations can apply for a maximum of £2,250
The bursary supports three strands of funding;
- Achieving quality standards to strengthen the organisation Nationally recognised quality standards enable an organisation to prove they have attained a recognised level of quality.
- Professional development and other training: The Bursary can also cover the costs of individuals attending training that develops their professional skills and competencies.
- Organisation mentoring and development The bursary can fund the commissioning of a suitably qualified professional to work with you and your organisation to strengthen your skills and/or systems in monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting and to help the organisation become more business minded with improved systems for forward business and financial planning.
Eligibility
Organisations must be based in Hounslow or deliver the majority of its services to Hounslow residents.
Organisations must be a properly constituted charity, social enterprise or community group.
Priority will be given to small and medium sized organisations, defined as:
– Groups having up to 3 full-time equivalent staff (i.e. 0 to 85.5 hours paid staff time per week, even if split across more than five posts).
– Groups having an annual turnover of £150K or less
