Ealing Council is seeking the views of residents and park users about a range of possible improvements for Dean GardensÂ’ park and playground. The park provides West Ealing with vital green space where local people can exercise, relax, and meet friends.
Funding is available for a smaller range of improvements that we can carry out in 2021-22. These include new childrenÂ’sÂ’ play equipment, changes to the outdoor exercise equipment, realigning the cycle route and creating a small community gardening area.
There is a drop-in session at Dean Gardens on Wednesday,18 August from 10am-12pm, where you can learn more about the new park including a visual display of the proposals. A free bird-box making activity will also be available for children.
We want to ensure that the park is strongly rooted in the community, which will be loved and well used by the people in West Ealing.
The consultation closes on 30 August 2021.

Engagement with young leaders in London, a programme is being designed with Public Health England and NHS London to give younger Londoners the space to connect. Events will allow young Londoners to share stories and experiences of the pandemic and explore journeys out of COVID-19, including the vaccine.
Out of COVID-19: Health Conversations with Young Londoners will take place between Monday 23 and Monday 30 August 2021, and we want you to be involved!
Public Health England and NHS London are providing grants of up to £1,000 to support the delivery of creative activities or events that encourage young people to attend and contribute to conversations around these issues. We especially encourage applications for events that are supported, led, and promoted by young people.
