If you are a BAMER charity or social enterprise (with less than £250,000 annual income), looking to grow and become funding ready, we can help you!
The AVOCADO+ project is a two year collaboration between MONEY4YOUTH, RACE ON THE AGENDA, and BLACK FUNDRAISERS UK. This is an intensive and innovative programme that will improve the Sustainability, Fundraising Capabilities and Leadership of BAMER charities and social enterprises. APPLY NOW
Following the very successful Avocado pilot project (funded by the Tudor Trust) from September 2016 – August 2018, we are pleased to announce the launch of the AVOCADO+ Accelerator programme to support Black, Asian, Multi-Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) groups to become more financially sustainable. The Avocado pilot project demonstrated that small BAMER groups benefit from intense capacity building support if they are to maximise their potential. Groups require additional training and support in areas such as governance, finance and leadership to maximise their fundraising efforts. This programme will help them move on to the next stage in their development, equipping them with the tools and confidence they need to survive and thrive.
The next academic year will run from November 2019 – September 2020 and applications for BAMER organisations to join the 2019/20 programme is open now and until 30th October 2019.

Woodbridge Park is Hounslow’s Alternative Provision Service for all children and young people who are not able to attend a mainstream or special school. We provide extensive, borough-wide services to the most vulnerable children and their families. We know that we can only achieve our mission by working in close partnership with other agencies and this includes voluntary or third-sector organisations. United, together we have a greater chance of improving the life chances for our students and building stronger families. If you are interested in partnering with us and exploring how we can work together, please email Milli Cowling on: ucowling2.313@lgflmail.org to organise a meeting.
