The scheme is a £1.5 million government fund that will support local and community groups in celebrating the centenary of women gaining the right to vote. Two types of funds: 150 Small Grants of between £300 to £2,000 and up to 30 Large Grants of between £2,000 and £125,000. The deadline is 18th May 2018, for more information click here
GlobalGiving is the largest global crowdfunding community connecting not-for-profits, donors, and companies around the world. We are now accepting applications for the June Accelerator training programme. Participating charities will receive free online training in digital fundraising and have access to GlobalGivingÂ’s fundraising tools and resources. You’ll then be entered in to a 3-week crowdfunding campaign in June to raise at least £4,000 for your chosen project. Free 2 day Training in Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement. This workshop will help you to:
•   Understand how effective communication can support health messages
•   Know how to promote improvements in health and well-being to individuals
•   Understand the impact of change on improving an individual’s health and well being

Comic Relief and the Mayor of London have partnered together to launch the London Together Fund. This initiative will invest in projects that use sport to improve social integration across London, bringing people together from different backgrounds and strengthen local communities. This is in line with The Mayor of LondonÂ’s ambition to make London the most active and socially integrated city in the world.
Sport is a powerful tool for social change, and can be used to address a range of issues facing communities. It can support the development of essential life skills, deliver powerful messages, develop confidence and improve self-esteem. ItÂ’s a great way to bring people from different backgrounds together to strengthen community cohesion. Over the past 10 years Comic Relief has funded hundreds of projects that use sport in this way that have made a big difference to people and communities.

Our group was formed in 2012 by a few residents who wanted to support isolated men and women in the community through health and wellbeing activities and advice.
