Applications are now open for round two of the Community Tree Planting Grants. Grants of between £5k – £20k (small grants) and £20k – £50k (medium grants) are available.
Do you want to plant more trees in your local park or a community orchard on your estate? Do you want to create a new woodland in your borough?
Were looking for projects across the capital that will plant thousands of trees and give Londoners the chance to get involved. There is also a new element of the grant scheme dedicated to large scale tree planting to coincide with National Tree Week in December 2018.
Applications close at 5pm on Monday 18 June. Projects should take place between September 2018 and March 2019.
Information on applications is available on the City Hall website, and in the Community Tree Planting Grants Round 2 guide.
