Hounslow Voluntary Sector Effectiveness and Efficiency Survey
Many voluntary groups are facing pressures on their budgets and funding and future viability. To assist local groups Hounslow Council and Hounslow Community Network are jointly carrying out a local VCS Efficiency and Effectiveness Review.
A link to the Survey is here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/VCSEfficienceReview
We would be grateful if you could find 30 minutes to complete this survey by Friday 21st April.
This work is intended to provide practical support to local VCS groups. We hope VCS groups will be able to learn from each other on potential efficiencies and cost saving tips.
In addition:Â
*Hounslow CPU and HVSSS will be holding two efficiency and effectiveness workshops with advice tips for local groups
*HVSSS will produce a number of information briefings for VCS groups e.g. a briefing on various national discount schemes available to VCS groups and charities
To recognise your time in completing the survey if you complete by 21st April HVSSS will enter you into a prize draw for 10 x £50
Hounslow Council is asking all VCS groups who receive £15,000+ in Council funding to complete this survey. But we would encourage other groups to complete the survey as well, particularly smaller groups.
If you have any questions on the survey email Andy Roper at HVSSS via andy@ealingcvs.org.uk
Hounslow VCSE Survey 2016 – results are now available
The Hounslow VCSE Survey 2016 was carried out by Hounslow CouncilÂ’s Community Partnerships Unit between September and November 2016.
This is the fourth annual survey of the sector and was open to all charities, social enterprises, faith and community groups in Hounslow.
The aim of the survey is to obtain information and feedback from Hounslow’s VCSE organisations so that the council’s  Community Partnerships Unit is able to:
•            Assess the state of the sector.
•            Identify trends in the sector.
•            Identify challenges being faced by the organisations in the VCSE sector.
In addition the survey provides:
•            Information about changes to the sector in the last 12 months.
•            Expectations of the sector for the next 12 months.
•            Information for local infrastructure organisations to use – such as HCN and HVSSS.
•            Data to support the council’s partnership work for 2017/18.
