With many sports clubs, community centres and charities losing vital revenues from the lack of sport and other activities taking place, Sport Works offers a way to introduce new members to your club, deliver new projects in your community whilst contributing vital revenues to your organisation.
Sport Works has been operating since 2009 and have partnered with sports clubs, community centres, carers organisations and other not for profit organisations across 16 of LondonÂ’s 32 boroughs. They work by supporting partner organisations to identify funding opportunities and to deliver new sports or activities sessions that benefit many different community groups. These groups include:
o Organisations supporting disabled individuals
o Carers organisations
o Women only groups
o Elderly groups
o Youth groups
o BAME groups
o Low income / Unemployed groups
To date, within Ealing and Hounslow, Sport Works have partnered with a Tennis club to deliver an over 50Â’s ladies fitness and Tennis programme, a Boxing club for disabled adults as well as two SEND schools to deliver extra-curricular sports programmes.
Sonal Parekh – Chair of Ashiana Charitable Trust recently commented on Sport Works – “We were introduced to Sport Works nearly six months ago and they have assisted Ashiana Charitable Trust to access funds as well as delivering a sports and activities projects for our members. The team at Sport Works are incredibly professional, knowledgeable about the funds available to organisations such as us, their coaching team have been amazing, we feel that they have been part of our team forever. I could not recommend Sport Works highly enough”.
If your sports club, community centre or not for profit organisation would like an initial consultation to see whether Sport Works can assist you in the same way that we have others, please send an email to mike@sportworksltd.co.uk who will arrange a call with one of the Sport Works team.
