Volunteer Event Assistants x 6 Â
As part of the celebrations for the Queen’s 90th birthday, the London Borough of Hounslow will be holding two small events at two older person’s schemes, Frogley House, Hounslow & Edward Pauling House, Feltham.
They are looking for a minimum of three volunteers for each event to help support staff with making sure things run smoothly! They will be assisting with elderly tenants to get them seated, take part in the activities, help serve refreshments and set up for the event.
They require all volunteers to already have DBS checks in place and will need evidence of these before the events take place.
The two events that volunteers can support with are:
- Queen’s Birthday Street Party
Friday 10 June 2016, 1.30pm – 4.30pm at Frogley House, Hounslow - Vintage Tea Party (with Bingo and Quiz)
Tuesday 14 June, 1pm – 4pm at Edward Pauling House, Feltham
You don’t need to have any particular experience to volunteer, they are just looking for people who are enthusiastic, friendly and will get stuck in on the day!
Refreshments will be provided. Volunteers can claim back travel expenses (as long as receipts are given). For more information please email ayesha.hameed@hounslow.gov.uk or call 0208 583 2405.
