Monthly bird walk and surveys at Walpole Park

We welcome volunteers and visitors back to Walpole Park for the monthly bird survey and walk. These take place on the third Saturday of each month.
The next one is therefore this Saturday, 17 July, 8am.
No need to book, just turn up. We meet by the café kiosk and the walk takes just over an hour.
No prior experience required. Our regulars are a friendly bunch and happy to share their knowledge.
You will need a pen if you want to record the species and if you have binoculars that would be useful, but not essential.
From April to October inclusive, we meet at 8am to start the walk.
From November – March, we meet at 8.30am to start.
