Published on: 1 July 2024
Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales’s programmes currently open to applications to small and local charities and CICs:
These include
- Our Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations Programme which offers a combination of unrestricted funding and development support over 3yrs
- Our Organisational Development Support Programme which offers a two year programme of development support to charities working with refugees and asylum seekers
Please find more information below
This programme is aimed at registered charities and CICs with income between £25k and £500k which are led by and working for Deaf and Disabled people. Organisations applying to this programme will work directly with Deaf and Disabled people over the long term to support them to have more choice and control over their lives, access their rights and entitlements and challenge the barriers they face. This includes led by and for mental health charities.
The organisation’s work will be based on a social model of disability, and organisations applying to the programme will be able to show how this understanding shapes the work that they do, and enables people to have their voices heard.
Successful applicants will receive an unrestricted grant of £75,000, over three years (£25,000 per year) so organisations awarded funding will be able to use the grant to support any costs that further their organisation’s social purpose.
More information about the definition of a disability is here
We have information on our website and a recording of the webinar which explains what we are looking for on YouTube
Closing date is 28th August.  We will be funding circa 42 charities and CICs across England and Wales
This is a two-year development support programme, for registered charities that work with asylum seekers and refugees and have an income between £25k – £500k.
This is not a funding programme and there is no cash grant linked to it.
For ten years we’ve been investing in helping small and local charities build on their strengths and grow more resilient so they can thrive over the long term.
This could include working with a specialised consultant, a mentor or skilled volunteer, participating in peer networks or accessing resources, memberships and events.
With our Regional Managers we work with charities to identify strengths and challenges and how to address these and provide support tailored to the needs of the charity.
We want to share our organisational development support offers with charities that we’re not able to fund.
The application form is simple and there is full details of the programme and an eligibility quiz on our website.
Closing date for applications is 1st August 5pm. We can support 60 charities in England and Wales with this programme.
If we receive more eligible applications than we can support, we will randomly select up to 6 eligible charities from each of the regions in England and from Wales.
Information on our website here. Organisations interested in applying to either programme can also book a pre-application conversation with a member of our team via our website here
