PURPOSE OF THE POST

To improve support and care for people affected by cancer, we need to enhance and develop a better understanding of services, ensuring they are appropriate and relevant to the communities they serve. Early, appropriate health services that engage with people living with cancer are vital to build trust, improve treatments and ultimately improve life chances.

This is a new role, funded by Macmillan Cancer Support to lead the Ealing part of a tri-borough project which aims to recruit, train and manage Cancer Community Champions. YouÂ’ll be responsible for shaping the programme and engaging the local community through providing general awareness, support and signposting.
