Inspire Hounslow Board Admin Support – part-time
Could you be inspired to help us to support local charities by supporting our Board with efficient administration? We are a small charity with a big heart and finances to make a difference by investing in projects to help young, disadvantaged people.
As Board Admin Support you will help with our day-to-day operations, acting as first point of contact, directing calls and emails, helping with grant applications, preparing papers, taking minutes, and generally being an overall superstar. We would like the post-holder to have experience of Board administration and governance matters. You will work from home with minimum supervision so this would suit someone with enough experience to make decisions within guidelines, and sound judgement to know when to escalate. Our Trustees are more hands-on than is usual for the role as we are a small charity with one other part-time employee.
This job may suit someone recently retired, someone holding a similar parttime role locally, or someone with formal committee support experience.
We have a monthly board meeting you would need attend, which is held in Osterley. It would be helpful if you know the London Borough of
Hounslow as our work is specifically in that borough.

Hours: approx. 20-25 hours per month, flexed to needs of the service
Remuneration: approx. £15ph depending on experience
