Isleworth Voluntary Care Network is looking for a Volunteer to become a Chair of the organisation.

IVCN provides help to people in the TW7 postcode to get to hospital, G.P. and other medical appointments, and to accompany residents to local shops or to other services. We also arrange Afternoon Tea Parties, sometimes with entertainment, at St John’s Community Centre 4 or 5 times a year.  Our volunteers bring our clients by car to social events, which provide the opportunity to meet and chat over a cup of tea and homemade cakes. Old and new friendships blossom from these occasions. A registered charity, ICVN is completely volunteer run and to continue successfully into the future needs the help of more local people.

They are looking for someone who shares our desire and passion in delivering our service within the local community. A chairperson will be responsible for the day to day organising and management of the organisation.
