Closing the Autism Gap in Hounslow

To mark the upcoming national Autism awareness week in April, a new initiative to encourage more people to learn more about autism is currently available in Hounslow and surrounding areas. This is through group work and attending education workshops locally, on autism.
“You never know when you will come into contact with a service user, a colleague or member of the public who is autistic. We aim to increase awareness around communication, stereotypic behaviour, and practical interventions,” explains Ms Sara Phillips, Signs4Life tutor.
