City Bridge Trust Small Grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 per year are available for a maximum of five years, for the following areas of work:
· Greening and growing projects which bring communities together and improve the local environment.
· A project which enables disabled people and/or older people who are disadvantaged to actively participate in the arts, sports and health and wellbeing opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria:
This programme is open to groups working in London with an income of less than £100,000, as shown in the organisations latest annual accounts.
Applicants will need to be one of the following:
· Registered charity
· Registered Community Interest Company
· Registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation
· Charitable company
· Exempt or excepted charity
· Registered charitable industrial and provident society or charitable Bencom
Applicants will need to be able to provide a least one set of legally compliant accounts. They will also be required to provide an organisational budget for the current financial year and a forecast for the coming year if your financial year begins within three months of the applications submission.
Application process:
City Bridge Trust aim to provide a decision within 12 weeks of the receipt of a fully completed application. However, at times of high demand this may take longer, though and they will let you know if that is the case. Your project/grant spend should not commence until you have received formal notification of our funding as they cannot fund retrospectively, either in whole or in part.

Job Vacancy: Monitoring & Evaluation officer
20hr/4x5h/week £20k plus pension

We are looking for an experienced monitoring & evaluation officer to help us to measure the impact of our Hate Crime Project that is supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.
This is a completely new role, that would suit someone looking to further their experience in project management and data analysis.
We need someone who can design methods of evaluation and adapt our database for this purpose in order and to create reports to show, for example, what difference we are making to our clients wellbeing and resilience, in the service we offer.
You would be working closely with the two Hate Crime Co-ordinators, and the Director as well as our many volunteers to ensure the project meets its outputs and outcomes and reporting timelines.
The Project covers all strands (also referred to as protected characteristics) of hate crime which includes homophobic, race, faith, disability, gender identity, and transgender within the three boroughs of Ealing, Hounslow, and Hillingdon and builds on the success of a previous project in Ealing. It involves the processing of hate crime enquiries, supporting and advising victims, liaising with the police, building a network within the three boroughs of stakeholders and law enforcement and other support groups, and managing caseloads where further work is required.
The aim is to increase reporting and resilience for victims of hate crime, and reduce isolation and vulnerability caused by being targeted because of the victims particular protected characteristic.

- Adjust our client database to accurately record data
- Use client data to prepare reports
- Assess the effectiveness of our partnerships
- Suggest improvements to our network
- Educate staff about the role of evaluation and monitoring and ensure all our information is accurately recorded
Skills required:
- Experience of data collection system design and management
- Report writing
- Project management experience
- Local knowledge would be an advantage
- Awareness of the need for confidentiality is essential
- Ability to be sympathetic to the clients situation is important
- Good written and spoken English
- Team working skills
Extra requirements:
- Clean enhanced DBS required (which we will carry out)
- Valid permission to work in the UK
- Office based, with some travel around the 3 boroughs
- Limited scope to work from home
- Travel expenses will be paid (using public transport)

Barclays 100×100 UK COVID-19 Community Relief Programme
50 donations of £100,000 each are available to UK charities working to support vulnerable people impacted by COVID-19, and to alleviate the associated social and economic hardship caused by the crisis.
Application deadline: 06/08/2021.
In the first round which took place in 2020, Barclays made 100 donations of £100,000 each to UK charities working to support vulnerable people impacted by coronavirus/COVID-19, and the associated social and economic hardship caused by the crisis.To date, more than 180 charities across the UK have received funding through the 100×100 Programme.
In 2021, Barclays will be making a further 50 donations of £100,000 each to UK registered charities to support their immediate COVID-19 relief work in communities across the UK.
50 donations of £100,000 each are available in 2021.
The bank expects to begin distributing funds from October 2021.
Applications to this second round will be accepted from 12 July 2021 until 6 August 2021 (6pm).

The Greater London Authority has just launched the Grant Award Process for The Mayors European Social Fund (ESF) Programme – Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) Hounslow.
We are seeking a provider to deliver the below project;
- Hounslow (Creative Enterprise West) CEZ (one Grant of £500,000)
This project will help Hounslow residents gain skills and find jobs in the creative sector. It will also support Londoners employed in the creative industries in Hounslow to progress in work.
