In the first round which took place in 2020, Barclays made 100 donations of £100,000 each to UK charities working to support vulnerable people impacted by coronavirus/COVID-19, and the associated social and economic hardship caused by the crisis.To date, more than 180 charities across the UK have received funding through the 100×100 Programme.
In 2021, Barclays will be making a further 50 donations of £100,000 each to UK registered charities to support their immediate COVID-19 relief work in communities across the UK.

The bank expects to begin distributing funds from October 2021.
Applications to this second round will be accepted from 12 July 2021 until 6 August 2021 (6pm).

Shortlisted organisations will be invited to complete the full Barclays due diligence process to confirm their formal eligibility to receive the funding. Once all governance is complete and has been approved, the donation will be confirmed in writing.
