Bridging Divides – Reducing Inequalities Across London
City Bridge Trust, the City of London’s charitable funder, will shortly be launching its new Bridging Divides grant programme. This will see around £100m distributed over the next five years to charities and social enterprises across London.
Bridging Divides has three priorities, which are:
Connecting the Capital: Making LondonÂ’s communities stronger, more resilient and enable them to thrive.
Positive Transitions: Work that will enable Londoners experiencing inequality and disadvantage to make important transitions in their lives.
Advice and Support: Providing access to good quality advice and support in order to reduce & address inequalities.
These three programmes above are cross-cut by two over-arching priorities, which are Reducing Inequalities and Enabling Voice & Representation.
The above priorities will help the Trust achieve its vision for London to be a city where all individuals and communities can thrive; and mission to reduce inequality and foster more cohesive communities, by using all our resources.
To achieve these, we will be looking to use the assets of the Corporation as a whole, including financial, knowledge and skills.
