The London Family Fund is Now Open for Applications
Published on: 22 March 2018
Do you know / are you a community group interested in making London a better place by bringing people together?
Last Friday, the Mayor of London launched a new Greater London Authority (GLA) grant scheme called the London Family Fund. The scheme is part of a broader strategy to make London a more socially integrated city.
Groundwork is acting as administrator of the scheme and applications are now open. We are looking for applications that help bring different families together – building meaningful and lasting relationships, encouraging Londoners to be active in their communities, and reducing barriers and inequalities that keep us from relating to each other as equals.
There are grants of up to £85,000 available for community groups, early years providers, family services and others who aim to promote greater social integration among parents and families. Up to £600,000 is available over the next three years.
The London Family Fund has a two-stage application process.
The deadline for initial applications (expressions of interest) at stage one is midday on Friday, 27 April 2018.
Successful stage one applicants will be invited to submit a stage two application by midday on Friday, 22 June 2018.
