Job Vacancy: Part -Time Vehicle Coordinator

A vacancy has arisen with Hounslow Community Transport (HCT) for the part-time post of Vehicle Coordinator. HCT is a local charity that was founded over thirty years ago and is based in the centre of Hounslow. HCT currently operates a fleet of seven minibuses and a delivery van.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining all HCTÂ’s vehicles ensuring that they are operated safely, legally and efficiently. In addition, the post holder is responsible for preparing minibuses for bookings eg removing seats to allow space for wheelchair passengers.
The post holder will be required to work usually four days each week – Monday to Thursday – from 830am to 1130am. Working on additional days and for additional hours might be required depending on the nature of the vehicle bookings in any given week.
The post will suit someone with considerable experience in operating and maintaining vehicles.
The rate of pay is £11 per hour with  an annual holiday entitlement pro rata based on 28 days each year in addition to statutory and public holidays.
