Be a Community Learning Champion
Published on: 3 May 2016
Community Learning Champions (CLCs) are local volunteers who are active in their community and promote the value of learning to others – whether that’s friends, relatives, neighbours, workmates or people they meet at the school gates, at the shops, or in groups/clubs!
CLCs speak from personal experience about the difference that learning can make to their quality of life or job prospects. They act as role models because CLCs often live in the same community or work in the same place as the people they are promoting learning to.
