New Community Hub in Cranford
Published on: 5 September 2024
Hounslow Council is excited to announce plans for a new Community Hub at the Meadowbank Adult and Community Education Centre in Cranford, and we want to hear your thoughts. Whether you live, work, or study in Cranford, your input is crucial to help shape the service and resources the Hub will offer.
What is a Community Hub?
Community hubs bring together a variety of essential resources for local residents. These services can include:
- Financial and welfare support
- Health and well-being information
- Employment and skills development
- Mental health support
- Assistance for more complex issues
The Cranford Community Hub will be the main hub for the area, based at the Meadowbank Centre, Community Close (just off the Bath Road), North Cranford. This hub will provide residents with a dedicated space to access services that help solve everyday problems, while also offering interest-based activities. The Meadowbank Centre is already home to the Adult and Community Education Service and the local library will also move in to the Centre, offering a wide range of complimentary services to residents under one roof. The intention is to open this full hub service in 2025.
Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey, where you can let us know which services you’d like to see at the Meadowbank Hub. The survey is open until 5 pm on 14th October 2024.
