[et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”]The ONE programme is a partnership led by Ealing and Hounslow CVS that includes Spark! Hillingdon Autistic Care Support, EACH Counselling and Heston Big West Local. It is a two year project funded by the Greater London Authority.

The project aims to engage, support and connect Young People in Ealing and Hillingdon with local Social Action activities or inspire them to deliver their own initiatives. The short pre-course builds confidence amongst Young People and equips them with all the necessary skills to ensure their Social Action activities are positive, productive and create impact in the local community. The pre course also provides an opportunity to explore each Young PeopleÂ’s dreams, passions and motivations which inspire them to carry out Social Action.

Job Description

Post: Project Officer (potential job share possible)

Salary: £30,741 – 35 hours a week, flexibility to work one evening per week and one weekend day per month.

Responsible to: Volunteering Manager

Line Manager for: No direct line management responsibilities.

Job Purpose: To engage Young People through outreach to enrol on a short pre course to increase confidence and the ability to carry out Youth Social Action. This includes designing and delivering the pre course and connecting Young People to relevant Social Action activities once the course is completed. Supporting and encouraging the Young People to complete their Social Action placement or to deliver their own.
