Chipotle are looking for local organisations to fundraise for!
Published on: 12 July 2021
WeÂ’re looking to support our local communities via fundraising in our restaurants. These take place by identifying groups and organisations in the local areas to partner with and then deciding on the best date and timeframe to hold a fundraiser. We design a flyer that we can put in our orders for a few days leading up to the fundraiser to let our guests know. We encourage the group weÂ’re partnering with to pass out flyers as well and post on social.
During the day and time of the fundraiser, guests come to the restaurant (this is in-restaurant only, not digital or delivery orders) and mention that they’re here for the fundraiser. They can either just mention this or bring in the flyer. Our team will then log the order as part of the fundraiser by hitting the fundraiser button at the till. A minimum of £150 must be raised in this time frame (this is about 15-20 people) and from that point on, we donate 33% of sales back to the group during the timeframe. So if there is £300 in sales during the fundraiser, the group will get £100. We will set the group up as a vendor and transfer the money directly into their account.
