Workshop Introducing the new Hounslow Voice Network

Hounslow Voluntary Sector Support Service would like to invite staff and volunteers working in Voluntary and Community organisations in Hounslow to share their views and ideas about the new Hounslow Voice Network (HVN).
This is a great opportunity to meet and network with colleagues from other Voluntary and Community Organisations, learn about the new Hounslow Voice Network and share your views and ideas will help shape the delivery plan.

Life Therapies social enterprise from EACH Counselling and Support
Life Therapies is a specialist paid for counselling service provided by EACH Counselling and Support.
We offer an assessment at £65.00 and a minimum of 6 x 1-2-1 counselling at £55.00 person totalling £395.00. We offer alternative payment options.
We have 25 yearsÂ’ experience supporting people in recovery.
We provide quality and culturally sensitive services to individuals and families living and or working in West London, designed for clients wishing to address complex needs such as addictions, problematic substance use, harmful behaviours and or PTSD.
Our therapists  work from a strengths based approach, addressing clientsÂ’ needs to achieve meaningful change. We build on the individual’s resilience and resources in a safe and nurturing space.
EACH therapists are from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures they understand the barriers and cultural issues that individuals may experience.
We can offer individual counselling, couples counselling and workshops.
Counselling can be provided in a number of community languages including;Â Punjabi, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Dari, Pashto, Portuguese, Polish and English.

OPEN INVITATION TO GROUPS TO JOIN THE EQUALITY ADVISORY PANEL
In collaboration with London Borough of HounslowÂ’s Equality and Human Rights department and the HVSS Voice Network this new group will sit under the Community Advisory Network with the aim of acting as an integral conduit; consulting with the voluntary sector to shape, influence and guide Equality Impact Assessments currently ongoing, in addition to;
· Groups main task is to provide constructive feedback by engaging members of their organisation on consultations by the Council and where useful to agree to arrange consultations between Council officers and their members.
· Guide the Council in tackling inequality and create a fairer Hounslow.
· To advise the Council on equality and diversity-related issues in the Hounslow, including those faced by specific communities and/or equalities groups.
· To support the Council to ensure the experiences of specific groups are represented in policy and programme.
· To provide a powerful advocacy voice on inclusive practices in the capital’s communities and businesses.
