BetterPoints Research Programme Call for Participation

BetterPoints would like to invite you to take part in our new research programme, in partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow. St MungoÂ’s, a charity providing support to homeless people in the borough, are seeking a new office to operate from. They are willing to share space with another organisation. Type of service: St MungoÂ’s Outreach Service (commissioned by Hounslow Council)
Days / hours: Mon 0800-1300, Tues 0900-1700, Weds 1400-2000, Thu 0900-1700,
Fri 0800-1300
Requested facilities: Access to internet / Wi-Fi
3 desks spaces
Preferably some filing storage space
If possible access to a separate room for 1:1 case work sessions (not a necessity)
If possible use of computers though they can provide their own
Budget: Max £7000 per year

Welcome to the annual Hounslow Funders Fair

This year’s Funders Fair will be held on Tuesday 23 January from 9.00am – 2.00pm at the Civic Centre in Hounslow. The event is organised by Hounslow Council’ s Community Partnership’s Unit.
This is a unique opportunity for everyone involved in the voluntary sector in Hounslow to meet some of the most important funders in the country and to get their expert advice on how to apply for funding for your organisation.
There will be a range of specialist stalls where local organisations will be providing information about their activities, and we will be providing lunch at the end of the event.
Once again we will have the widest range of funding specialists giving workshops on funding sources:
• Big Lottery Fund
• City Bridge Trust
• Heathrow Community Fund
• Space HiveWe ask that you please book in advance to attend the event and to attend the workshops.
PLEASE make sure that you only book ONE workshop for the individual time slots.
