What is Early Help and what does the Early Help Hub do?
Early Help means providing support as soon as a problem emerges at any point in a child’s life, from the foundation years through to the teenage years. This could be for example with learning, physical or mental health, parenting, etc. The purpose of early help is to resolve difficulties at an early stage and prevent a future crisis.
The Hounslow Early Help Hub aims to provide a single point of contact for all those working with children, young people and their families who are seeking advice on support options.
If you have identified a family who are in need of support to prevent their situation becoming worse, contact the Early Help Hub to receive guidance on next steps!
If you have child protection concerns for a family, please continue to contact the childrenÂ’s services front door/MASH in the usual way.
Who are the Early Help Partnership Hub Team and how do I contact them?
The Hub consists of three Early Help Practitioners who are the face of the team and offer consultation for practitioners. The Hub also consists of a Team Manager and a Business Support Officer
You can contact the team by calling the Hub on 020 8583 6653 to speak to us between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday, or email earlyhelphub@hounslow.gov.uk
