The Environment Agency will be talking you through how to prepare for flooding in Ealing. You will hear about the different types of flooding in Ealing, how authorities respond to flood risk and how we support communities to take more control over their flood risk, meaning you can get back to normal as quickly as possible.
We will also be introducing Emergency Resilience Planning for your organisation.

What is the Community Resilience Forum?
The Community Resilience Forum (CRF) brings together community groups, faith organisations, local businesses, and voluntary networks across Ealing to strengthen resilience and preparedness for emergencies.
Our purpose is to:
- Raise awareness of local risks such as fires (example- major fire incident in Southall on 25th November 2025), flooding (example- burst water main incident in Ealing on 12th August 2025), severe weather (example fallen tree in Greenford due to Storm Henk on 2nd Jan 2024) , and other emergencies.
- Strengthen communities with the tools and confidence to shape resilience plans through training, engagement, and scenario exercises.
- Improve coordination between Ealing Council, voluntary groups, and residents for effective response and recovery.
- Support vulnerable individuals and encourage community-led emergency planning.
- Build trust and transparency between statutory partners and local stakeholders.
The CRF is a space for sharing updates, co-developing initiatives, and ensuring community voices are heard!
