Ealing Council is carrying out a group discussion to better understand what local Voluntary and Community Sector groups think of the council and where things can be improved.

We would like to invite you to this discussion, which will take place online via the Zoom platform. To ensure that a broad mix of local VCS organisations take part, please answer a few questions through this form. This information will be passed on to our research partner Lake Research Ltd who will be facilitating the online discussion. Your details will only be used for the purposes of participating in this discussion for Ealing Council, and handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Hounslow Funders Fair

For voluntary and community sector organisations providing services in The London Borough of Hounslow

Hounslow Council’s Community Partnerships Unit would like to invite our charities and voluntary and community groups to take part in our first post-Covid Funders Fair.

• Meet a range of well-known funders and gain an in-depth knowledge of their priorities and grant programmes

Re-Klaim IT Ealing Device & Distribution Project

Funded by The London Borough of Ealing EHCVS has been commission to deliver a digital device distribution service. Working in partnership with Council Teams, Children’s Services, Local Welfare Assistance, Employment, Learning and Skills, Job Centre and VCSE organisations supporting vulnerable residents EHCVS we will be providing refurbished devices back into the community.

The projects aims to serve to benefit the most vulnerable sections of the community by empowering residents with digital access and reducing digital isolation and exclusion. To be eligible for a device residents must meet either the Qualification or vulnerability Criteria:

Qualification

  • Residents living in social housing are digitally excluded and isolated.
  • Multiple deprivation families using food banks.
  • Individuals who access support services.
  • Individuals who identify themselves as long-term unemployed.
  • Minoritised communities.
  • Eligible or receiving means tested benefits, low waged, or NEET
  • Must not already have easy access to device

Vulnerability

  • Children and young person’s having left or leaving care
  • Mental Health
  • Physical and Learning Disabilities
  • Substance Misuse
  • Long term Health issues
  • Homelessness
  • Ex- offenders
  • Victim of domestic abuse
  • Loan Parent and Troubled Families
  • Socially isolated or any other complex needs

Are you a Hounslow resident who identifies as LGBTQ+?

Would you like to influence local health and wellbeing services and tell us about your experiences and needs?

We are looking for interviewees for our research during June on a voluntary basis, for interviews conducted online or by phone for 45 minutes to an hour.

Your contribution will be confidential and will be anonymised in our research. Interviews will be conducted weeks of 13th and 20th June.
