The Sickle Cell Societys blood donation awareness project is hosting Turn up the Volume – ‘Give Blood, Spread Love, England’ Spoken Word Event on Friday 4th June from 5:50pm – 7:00pm.
About this event
The event will have some great performances from spoken word artists: Safiya Kinshasa, Joshua Idehen, Lucy Lepe & Becksy Becks, some talks around blood donation, and will be hosted by Natalie Gayle, a Sky presenter.

Ealing Council together with North West London CCG has allocated £100,000 for 2021/22 to support small voluntary and community sector groups deliver local community and neighbourhood projects and activities with a focus on well-being. We know that many groups support local residents and have ideas about how they could do more, but who find it difficult to apply for funding. These are the groups we would like to support through this funding.
The small grants programme will make awards of up to £5,000 to not-for-profit organisations for projects and activities that contribute to meeting the aims of the council and North West London CCG
The Small Grants Fund is open to any small organisation/group working to support EALING residents which has an annual income of less than £50,000.

CELEBRATING SMALL CHARITY WEEK 14th-19th June 2021
Funding available to- Projects working with disadvantaged people aged 18 or over to improve their basic digital skills
The programme is more needed than ever as people became much more reliant on technology to communicate throughout the pandemic.
The programme aims to equip adults with basic digital skills for work and life, helping them access the online world.

The Fat Beehive Foundation is offering small grants of up to £2,500 to charities with a turnover of less than £1 million on a quarterly basis normally in April, July, October, and January.
Priorities for support: We can only support a limited amount of projects, based on the funding available for distribution in any given year. Our funding priorities over the next year are:
Were keen for our funding to have a genuine impact, so we dont fund organisations without the internal resources to make the project a success.
We focus purely on hard-to-find digital expenditure that other funders will often not cover.

The week is organised as a series of activities and initiatives to support and raise awareness of the small charities that, every day, make a huge difference to vulnerable communities in Ealing and Hounslow.
During this time, now more than ever the effects our work has is essential, with much of the work you do, as a small charity, going unnoticed maybe because you are so busy doing and dont have the time to tell everybody what youre actually doing! So now is the time and a little incentive.
How it works: Using the provided template why not take a photo or record a short (10-20 second) video highlighting the amazing impact you made over the past 12months. Post it on social media using the hashtag #SmallCharityBig ImpactDay. Lets get it trending! Therefore we encourage you to motivate your supporters to post or on your behalf too.
