The calendar contains information about a huge number of social activities across the borough aiming to reduce isolation, support independence and improve the health and wellbeing of Ealing residents.
Applications are invited for a grant to deliver community opportunities as part of the 2023-27 VCS funding programme. The application form, guidance and background documents are available to download. Please note, it is important that applicants read the guidance document before making an application. Full details of the criteria.
The closing date for receipt of all applications is 5pm on Tuesday 30 May 2023. Late applications will not be accepted.

Starting Cancer Awareness Project in May 2023 for two years in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support aiming to give a better support to patients diagnosed with cancer, raise cancer awareness, and improve understanding on how to access services for minoritised ethnic communities and marginalised groups in Ealing.
This project is to support you through a cancer diagnosis and beyond that also opening opportunities to become Cancer Champion Volunteer with the support of Macmillan expertise.

Age UK Hounslow are delighted to announce that we are seeking a Community Outreach Person to further the workings within the Bedfont, Feltham and Hanworth areas of Hounslow. This is a 3 year position funded by Reaching Communities, National Lottery Community Fund and is available for an immediate start. Application Form and a copy of a Community Audit Executive Report and a Full Audit Report are available on our website here which will provide further information. Please note that these reports were written pre-pandemic situation but should provide a useful guide to some of the works involved for this role.

The Mayors Civil Society Roots Fund is now open for applications and invites equity-led organisations working with communities in Hounslow to apply.
Round 2 of the Fund will continue to be delivered in partnership with City Bridge Trust and The National Lottery Community Fund and will support organisations to strengthen their networks, capacity, and voice. It is not for delivery of front-line activity.
They are looking for organisations that want to develop new sectoral and/or cross sectoral partnerships, invest in organisational capacity building, research, training or enable space and time to think about what our communities need most. The fund is specifically aimed at supporting groups to be in a stronger place to respond to and serve the increasing and ever-changing needs of our communities.
Grants of up to £30,000 over 12 months (plus up to £2500 for additional access costs)?will be awarded for projects starting September 2023, 2023.
Interested organisations will be requested to submit an Expression of Interest form by 19th May 2023, and successful applicants will be subsequently invited to submit a full application. The grants prospectus and EOI form is available on our website.
To support applicants through the two-stage application process, Community Regen, the programme support partner, are running in person and online information sessions on May 2nd 2023, at Resource for London, 356 Holloway Rd, London N7 6PA (fully accessible venue) which can be booked here for in person sessions and here for online sessions. BSL interpreters will be present for the 1.30pm in person session and the 12pm online session will be live captioned.
