🏳️🌈 Elevate Community Productions are recruiting London-based LGBTQ+ people to take part in the Queer Global Oral Histories project.
🌍 We want to hear stories about migration, identity, belonging, and what it means to build a life in London as a queer person. We are keen to hear from people from global majority backgrounds and or migrant communities.
Who can take part:
🏳️🌈 LGBTQ+
🔞 Aged 18 or over
📍 London-based, or previously lived in London
🌍 From a global majority / POC background and or a migrant
🚆 Able to travel to our studio in Hounslow (TW5)
What is involved:
🎧 One recorded oral history interview
🏠 Interviews take place in person at our Hounslow studio
💻 A small number of online interviews may be offered where appropriate
⏱️ Interview length is approximately one hour
What you receive:
🪙 A stipend paid to you of £50 to cover your participation and expenses
📚 Your story archived at the Bishopsgate Institute
📱 Featured in our social content
🎬 Potential to be a main contributor to our feature-length documentary
