We’re Hiring! Content Creator Apprenticeship
Published on: 12 January 2026
Join Elevate Community Productions CIC at our brand-new Narrative Change Studio.
What is “Narrative Change”? It’s the art of using high-end media to shift how society thinks about people and power. We don’t just “make videos”; we aim to dismantle stereotypes and build digital bridges between communities that rarely get to speak to one another.
The Role
As our apprentice, you will be on the front lines of production, co-creating content with:
- Individuals navigating economic hardship and poverty
- Global Majority communities
- Disabled creators and activists
- LGBTQ+ trailblazers
You will learn the full spectrum of content creation—from high-end cinematography and sound design to social media strategy and format development—all while ensuring the voices of the marginalised are centered and celebrated.
Are You the Right Fit?
It is essential that our team members are not just “neutral” observers, but active champions for a fairer world. We are looking for a candidate whose personal world-view aligns with:
- Radical Empathy: A deep-seated drive to understand and share the feelings of others.
- Social Equity: A commitment to dismantling systemic barriers and advocating for redistributed opportunity.
- Intersectionality & Pro-Diversity: An understanding that our identities (race, class, gender, ability) overlap and that true inclusion requires active effort.
- Social Justice Advocacy: A passion for progressive social change and a “human-first” approach to storytelling.
What You Will Gain
- Professional Training: Comprehensive apprenticeship training alongside hands-on mentorship from industry pros.
- Hard Skills: Mastery of 4K cameras, professional editing suites, and podcast production.
- Purpose: The chance to work on projects that have a measurable impact on the UK’s social fabric.
Salary & Commitment: This is a 15-month apprenticeship paid at the UK’s Apprentice Minimum Wage.
Location & Commute (Please Read Carefully):
We are committed to supporting our local community; therefore, we are particularly interested in accepting applications from candidates living within a reasonable traveling distance of TW5 9PD. Please be realistic about your commute—if your travel time exceeds one hour each way, this is unlikely to be sustainable or feasible option for a five-day-on-site working week.
How to Apply
If you are a storyteller with a fire in your belly for social justice and the creative drive to change the world, we want to hear from you. Email your CV to blaise@elevatecommunityproductions.org and let us know why you’re applying for this role and what makes you a good fit, and if omitting address details indicate the town you live in.
