Exciting NEW Opportunity!
Are you passionate about arts, culture or heritage?
Have you wondered whether volunteering could help you get a job in the sector?
Or hoped to get involved with like-minded people to find community or make a difference in your neighbourhood?
The Hounslow Volunteer Centre has come together with the London Borough of Hounslow to run a new volunteering programme, which could help you do just that!
With funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the West London Volunteer Programme aims to support culture and heritage in the borough, by working with cultural, arts, film and heritage organisations to provide local residents with volunteering opportunities.
The programme will include:
open days for volunteers within partner organisations;
training and support for volunteers;
in-person and online events for volunteers to take part in;
a range of current available roles to choose from;
opportunities to volunteer regularly or at one-off events.
We have an information session running on Wed 13th December 2023. Click here to register for your attendance.
Or are you part of an arts or heritage organisation that needs more volunteers or wants to diversify the volunteers that it has?
This programme could also help you! Please get in touch to let us know what your volunteering requirements are, and sign up to host open days, or get access to training to help you increase your volunteering capabilities.
If you are an organisation and/or a resident who would like to find out more about the project,
please get in touch with Whitley at whitley@ehcvs.org.uk.
