As a Volunteer Centre, we have been focusing on finding new ways to work with organisations to celebrate their volunteers, we wanted to allow organisations to have a say in the way that they would like their volunteers to be shown appreciation.
To do this, we sent out a digital Survey to organisations about the ways in which they would like to reward their volunteers, because on this survey, we created a new rewarding volunteers programme.
As a result of the survey, we would like to offer the following ways to reward your volunteers:
This scheme is offered to organisations as a way of rewarding their volunteers. Organisations in Ealing and Hounslow can contact our Volunteering Manager, informing them of the Volunteer that they would like to receive a certificate, providing us with their name and info about their role as a volunteer.
Once we have received this information, we will supply the Volunteer with their certificate, which can be sent to the organisation, the volunteer’s home, or collected from the Volunteer Centre base in either borough.
We would like to spread the word about the fantastic work that volunteers are doing, sharing their experience as a volunteer and the ways it has helped them. Organisations or volunteers can contact us, letting us know that they would like to share their story.
We will showcase volunteer case studies on our website, social media platforms, within our newsletters and with partners to showcase.
These can be either written or videos highlighting their role as a volunteer.
Each year during Volunteers Week, we will host a special thank you event to celebrate the wonderful contributions volunteers are making in their local communities.
Organisations will be able to select some volunteers whom they would like to invite to the event.
Please email all volunteer nominations to whitley@ehcvs.org.uk, a maximum of 2 volunteer nominations per organisation per borough.
