The National Citizen Service

The Challenge delivers the National Citizen Service (NCS)Â during July and August in Hounslow. NCS is a government funded 4 week program for all 16 and 17 year olds in the UK that aims to connect people, encourage social integration and engage people in their local community.
As a part of this programme they partner with local community organisations and charities, to encourage young people to interact with people from different backgrounds and age groups through volunteering and skills sharing.
They are also looking for organisations to host Professional Visits for 13 young people to visit for up to 1.5 hours to gain an insight into the work you do. Dates available are: July 10,14,18,22,29 and August 2,7,11,17,21.
Plus they are looking for people to act as Dragons for Dragons Den Pitches on the following dates: July 11,15,19,23,30 and August 3,8,12,18,20,22,24.
