Safety during the Coronavirus Crisis

Mar 23, 2020 | LBH

Adjustments during the Coronavirus outbreak

Many voluntary and community groups and charities in the borough have cafes, snack bars or other places where groups of people get together and socialise.

Some of you also have meetings involving large groups of people, and for this reason the Hounslow Council Community Partnerships Unit (CPU) has an urgent message from the Council’s Director of Public Health about taking measures to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus through social distancing.

In view of these guidelines many organisations may want to adjust your programmes of work; postponing some activities or carrying out services in different ways.
The CPU would like to reassure you that they will support you in this. Whenever you have any queries or need some support please get in touch with the Council’s Community Partnerships Unit:
Aine Hayes: / 020 8583 2453 or one of the team
Sara: / 020 8583 2450
John: / 020 8583 2208
