Safeguarding Updates

Feb 6, 2023

Ealing Council Prevent Team Update

The Prevent team are keen to build on their support to the local community and faith organisations on tackling radicalisation through their Prevent work. In addition, the team would also like to share additional information on other programmes which aim to protect our institutions and communities at risk of hate crimes or attacks.
There is a lot of good practice occurring in our communities including sharing positive messages and standing in solidarity, a number of announcements are being delivered during prayer times and messages of support are being uploaded on social media platforms.
The Prevent Team would like to amplify the good practice in our communities to be shared locally and nationally, therefore, please can forward any web-links, Facebook pages or Twitter links of positive activity since the London Bridge attacks.

Prevent in Ealing endeavour to keep in contact with you so the work on strengthening our resilience around radicalisation and extremism can be achieved by working together in partnership. You can contact the Prevent Strategy Manager: Nazia Matin  Tel :0208 825 8895   Mobile: 07860 779009  Email:
