Quality Marks are a set of standards that organisations have to meet to enable them to get the Quality Mark for that area. Organisations can build a reputation for quality by gaining accreditation with a recognised quality standard, such as PQASSO which covers all aspects of an organisation, from governance to service delivery and monitoring outcomes. PQASSO’s flexibility means it can be used by all types of third sector organisations, including charities, social enterprises, community interest companies and community groups.
Other Quality Marks that might be relevant to a VCS organisation might be:
Advice Quality Standard which is tailored to a specific types of work.
Investors in People – this is a standard for people management, offering accreditation to organisations that adhere to the Investors in People Standard.
