Southeast Communities Rail Partnership Feasibility Study

In 2023, the Southeast Communities Rail Partnership feasibility study explored how community rail partnership work might be developed in a more inclusive and community-informed way. EHCVS brought its engagement expertise to the project, helping gather feedback, reach diverse communities and understand where opportunities for partnership development might exist.

Although different in theme from many of EHCVS’s other programmes, the study still reflected the organisation’s core strengths: listening well, engaging underrepresented groups and helping institutions connect more meaningfully with communities.

Impact:

• 10 online drop-in sessions held between October 2022 and March 2023.
• Reached diverse and underrepresented groups across a wider geography.
