Re-Klaim IT

From 2023 to 2024, Re-Klaim IT served as EHCVS’s digital inclusion programme, created to reduce digital poverty and make digital access more achievable for residents who were excluded by cost, low confidence or limited support. The project combined device access with training, one-to-one guidance and volunteer support, recognising that digital inclusion was about far more than equipment alone. It was about participation, access and dignity in an increasingly digital world.
The project had a wide-ranging impact. It helped residents access devices, improve digital literacy and engage more confidently with services and systems, while also generating strong social value through volunteering and community-based support.
Impact:
- 1,100 vulnerable residents accessed support and training after receiving a device in 2022/23.
- Digital poverty reduced for at least 500 Ealing households.
- 350 residents received one-to-one support in 2023/24.
