Public Health Inequalities Project

The Ealing Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2023-2028 emphasises the importance of good partnerships working for the benefit of Ealing’s communities.
Through this project, we hope to reach the widest range of groups, supporting isolated and impacted communities.
Through the Network, we strive to train and disseminate key local information and resources that enhance groups’ ability to carry on delivering their services as well as plugging groups into local and national conversations to ensure our communities are represented.
This platform is for continued dialogue, collaborative work towards eradicating health inequalities, coordination between statutory agencies and the voluntary sector, and resource mobilisation as a partnership.
Whether you are representing a minoritised and underrepresented community or an ally, the network is for anyone passionate about promoting equality and inclusivity in Ealing and uplifting underrepresented voices!
Why the Network?
- To raise the profile of the local minoritised communities, share ideas, and explore strengths and current issues.
- To bring a strong and supportive Network and become a resource for local minoritised and underrepresented communities.
- To utilise the community’s voice by addressing the inequalities faced by minoritised communities in hopes of improving everyday experiences within the community, especially when it comes to health.
- To provide support and guidance for research on the minoritised community sector in Ealing through capacity building, networking, training, leadership, and collaboration.
- To support Minority leadership, engagement, decision making, and planning
- To enable Partnerships and consortia that can increase local community proposals to funders, which in turn will support emerging needs
