Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC)

In 2025, EHCVS’s involvement in the Health Determinants Research Collaboration reflected its role as a bridge between communities and public systems. As a VCSE partner and advisory member, EHCVS helped ensure that community voice, participation and equity were built into the collaboration from the outset. The work recognised that research into health determinants had to be shaped not only by institutions, but by the communities living with those realities.

By contributing to recruitment, participatory approaches and strategy development, EHCVS helped create a stronger foundation for long-term, community-informed health research.

• Helped co-recruit community leaders to the programme board.
• Contributed to participatory research and CPI strategy development.
