Ealing Public Health: Test and Trace Community Engagement Programme

From December 2020 to October 2021, the Ealing Public Health Test and Trace Community Engagement Programme delivered Covid-19 and vaccine information aimed at increasing take-up among disadvantaged groups. The programme focused especially on BAME communities, responding to the spread of misinformation and helping residents access more accurate, trusted and community-relevant information.

The project supported the distribution of information in multiple community languages and worked to strengthen public confidence in health messaging during a critical period. By using community engagement methods rather than one-way communications alone, the programme helped make public health information more accessible and responsive to local concerns.
