Ealing Community Connections

In 2023, Ealing Community Connections brought residents together through inclusive activities designed to reduce loneliness, strengthen local relationships and create more opportunities for participation. The project recognised that social connection was fundamental to wellbeing and community resilience, and created accessible ways for people of different ages and backgrounds to meet, learn and take part.

Its activities helped foster both immediate connection and wider community benefit. Alongside direct participation, the programme supported English language practice, local leadership and the development of new initiatives.

Impact:

• 600 free activities delivered in 2022/23.
• 8,000 residents reached across Ealing, Greenford, Northolt, Perivale and Acton.
