CACHE Network

In 2022, the CACHE Network was created to support BAME voluntary and community groups across Ealing, Hounslow and Hillingdon through regular networking, shared learning and direct engagement with statutory partners. Developed during the pandemic, it provided a consistent and trusted space where groups could exchange information, raise concerns and support one another through a period of intense change and pressure.

Its value extended beyond information-sharing. The network helped strengthen relationships between groups, improve trust and create more direct communication between communities and institutions such as councils and the NHS.

Impact:

• Weekly online sessions ran over 26 weeks.
• Covered issues including vaccine hesitancy, mental wellbeing and social isolation.
