Project Griffin Event

The London Borough of Hounslow Contingency Planning Unit, along with the Metropolitan Police Service Counter Terrorism Command will be holding a Project Griffin event on Tuesday 7th February 2017 between 10:00 and 12:00 at the Lampton Park Conference Centre (LPCC), Hounslow.
Project Griffin is a police initiative to protect our cities and communities from the threat of terrorism. It brings together and coordinates the resources of the police, emergency services, local authorities, business and private sector security industry.

- The structure and strategy used to fight the terror threat ?
- Hostile reconnaissance ?
- Bomb threat ?
- Response to a suspicious item ?
- Roaming firearms attack ?
- Postal threat
Project GriffinÂ’s primary mission is to engage, encourage and enable members of the community to work in partnership with the police to deter, detect and counter terrorist activity and crime.
Refreshments will be provided before the event for all attendees.
